Art-pliances: Repurposed familiar household machines!
A collaboration between local artists and Helensville Zero Waste.
|
35 Mill Road, Helensville (down the long access driveway).
Viewing between 10-4pm on Saturday & Sunday. A new addition to this years ARTS in the VILLE will be a collection of fridges, washing machines other white-ware that have become the focus and subject of local artists! Painters, sculptors, and even a wood turner have used these items as a vehicle to further their creativity. Exhibiting in unusual spaces and sites allow artists the freedom to stretch their imagination, relate creatively to the environment they are working in. The domestic objects will be drawn on, painted on, their surfaces printed upon. Some will be cut up, exposing the inner workings that we normally can't see. Enjoy interacting — open doors or lids to experience the artists creations inside! View creations by: Murray Silverstone Andrew Denton Helensville Primary School Because Jeff Thomson |
