Hello, my name is Sharon Forlong, and I am a soap maker living in the beautiful town of Helensville. I began making soap as a hobby, using common oils from my kitchen. As I gained confidence, I developed a passion for researching and creating soap recipes, experimenting with different oils and their associated benefits, and incorporating various ingredients to make skin-friendly soaps. Interestingly, I recently discovered that I am carrying on a tradition, as Helensville was once known for its soap-making factory, Hjorth and Co, a Fancy Soap Manufacturer.
I use high-quality natural and sustainable ingredients, including essential oils (with the occasional use of phthalate-free fragrances) and natural plant-based colorants and clays. Each soap is meticulously and lovingly created.
