Hi, I’m Sharon Dooney, and I run a wool carding business in Kaukapakapa. I’m excited to be showing you all the wonderful things that can be created from natural fibres!
Come along and see wool being transformed through spinning, and discover just how versatile and beautiful fibre can be. I’ll be spinning throughout the weekend in the library from 10am–4pm, Sat & Sun, so pop in for a chat, have a look, and watch the process in action. There will also be some fun hands-on activities for you to try! Come and make your very own crochet coral and have a go at finger knitting — no experience needed, just bring your curiosity and give it a go. Whether you’re already a fibre enthusiast or simply keen to learn something new, I’d love to see you there! I'll have a good range of fibres for sale and also some completed articles. |
