I have always been a maker at heart, drawn to the joy of creating with different materials and techniques. In recent times, my practice has grown into mixed media work, with a special focus on repurposing pre-loved materials. There’s something deeply rewarding about giving discarded objects a new life and purpose. I also love working with natural materials, appreciating their impermanence and the extra layer of meaning that brings to each piece.
My work isn’t about perfection — it’s about celebrating individuality and embracing imperfections, which I see as reflections of life itself: a little messy, yet beautifully rich in character and detail.

For this year’s event, my work centres around the theme of Compassion, something I think the world could use a bit more of right now. I’ve explored this idea through the timeless heart motif, weaving it into a collection of creations that play with different materials, techniques, and styles.
