​I have been a maker of things for as long as I can remember but only recently started ‘My Friend Doris’. My Friend Doris offers handmade items that are made with purpose and a love for detail, using mostly pre-loved materials as a form of appreciation of what is already in existence. My work is not about perfection, it is about celebrating uniqueness, about being proud of the small imperfections as they represent what life is all about - a little messy but awfully beautiful in all its wonderful and quirky details.
