I have always enjoyed a variety of artistic interests, but it was not until I retired I had the time to start painting. Initially I was inspired and encouraged by Ingrid Boot – her work always amazes me. I started painting in acrylics, then progressed onto oils and I love using this medium. Apparently I am a “detail” artist. My happy pIace is being able to spend time in my cute art studio in Red Beach.  I volunteer at Estuary Arts, belong to a local art group in Orewa and enjoy living on the coast with my husband.
