Linda Stevenson is an artist, designer, and counsellor. Her three fields of interest frequently overlap and feed into each other; manifesting in her richly-coloured artworks. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Linda initially trained as a graphic designer/graphic artist and currently works as an artist and counsellor. Linda’s art is influenced by travel, nature, philosophy, spirituality and psychology. Her contemporary paintings are an expression of a deeper spirituality, and an extension of her perpetual curiosity. “In my paintings, words and emotions are transformed into combinations of symbolic colour, pattern and images. Nature, psychology, theology, spirituality and art therapy (a means of ‘non-verbal communication’) provide the material from which I source my imagery.”
