Creates mainly landscapes with New-Zealand flora and fauna expressed while using bright beautiful colours. Greatly inspired by nature and the surrounding natural world from shells, rocks and different native plant forms which include Manuka to cabbage trees. Also inspiration behind her creations come from where she lives and what she sees in her everyday working and living environment. The is surrounded by scenes from lakes, farmland and the Kaipara Harbour. "I have a lot of ideas for my art but once I start painting the end result can be nothing like I imagined.” |
