Kevin J. Wilson was an artist and set designer, etc. before joining The Auckland University Theater (now defunct), then going on to Stage Manage  for The NZ Ballet. His next step was to take drama lessons from Gill Cornwell and join various theater groups. When television drama began in NZ Wilson was one of the very first actors to work on NZ television. For the next 40 plus years he worked in film and television on NZ  productions as well as Australian, American and others, then retired early and began catching up with his first love, oil painting.
