Joanne has worked in bronze for  around 35 years and in crystal glass casting for over a decade. Joanne’s crystal glass works are inspired by the surrounding nature and reflect the changing of the seasons depicting the birds and plants that surround her studio. The bronzes range from large public sculptures; which include the life sized bronzes of Pharlap in Timaru and Sir John Walker in Manurewa, to finely detailed  miniatures. A visit to her studio offers an insight into the world of  bronze and crystal glass lost wax casting and the opportunity to see works in progress. Her over life sized bronze of Sir Keith Park will be unveiled in 2025 at Thames Airfield, Coromandel.
