Jo is a professional hand embroiderer having trained at the Royal School of Needlework in the 1990's. Jo teaches embroidery around NZ with regular trips to Australia alongside working on commissions for fashion, film and private individuals. Jo holds exhibitions of her work every year or two which is inspired by interactions between people and the world around us. Jo is the author of Creative Thread, a book published in 2018 which features 20 people-inspired embroideries using modern hand-stitching techniques.
