Demonstrations & Workshops

This year we have a number of Artists who are demonstrating how they create and doing small workshops during the festival.

Clay - "Give it a go!"
Come play with some clay and make something simple. Janet can offer guidance and show examples of ways to handle the clay. Pit firing available for a small fee. Collection by arrangement.
COST: Small Koha (donation) to cover the cost of the clay.
DATES: Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
TIME: 11am & 2pm
WHERE: Main Gallery, Helensville Arts, 49 Commercial Rd

Wood Turning
Andrew will use a small wood lathe to
demonstrating bowl and spindle turning. Come and chat to him as he works!
DATES: Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
TIME: 11am - Watch Andrew make a bowl, 10-20 minutes. 
TIME: 2pm – Watch Andrew make spinning tops & Christmas trees.

Blacksmithing Demonstration 
Chris will be making smaller things like nails.

Come along and join Emma for a wet media snakey workshop!
Play with ink and paint to create your own small snake artwork.
