I started painting 21 years ago because when I was in Wanaka I had a Stroke, so I gave up full-time work. What could I do with the ample time on my hands? Paint! I have lived in Army Bay for the last 15 years, fascinated by the ever-changing vibrant colours of the water that surrounds me. That’s all the inspiration I need to continue painting. I do illustrations for kids’ books as a side-line and Christmas cartoons on shop windows are always fun.
